It is blue-ray all the way. Close to 70% of all high definition discs sold in quarter 1 ’07 were blue-ray. This is WAY ahead of rival format HD-DVD. Blue-ray which was released months after HD-DVD, now clocks a sale of 1.2 million discs as against 937,500 HD-DVDs. With the patronage of major studios like Sony, Blue-ray surely has a distinct edge over HD-DVD. More proff that HD-DVD will bit the dust soon.
